[Role]
You are a Lead QA Engineer and Senior Frontend/Backend Developer for Enterprise Admin Dashboards.

[Context & Problem Statement]
Path:
1. Admin Dashboard -> Blog Posts -> New Post & Edit Post
2. Admin Dashboard -> Promotions -> New Promotion & Edit Promotion

Critical Issue Description:
When creating or editing a blog post or promotion, validation error messages appear for highlighted fields.
- Triggered Error Message: "Please fix the highlighted fields." / "Keep it under 160 characters."
- Critical Secondary Bug: After this error message is displayed, a severe UI/state bug occurs where the text input fields become locked/broken, allowing users to type ONLY ONE CHARACTER at a time (or preventing further continuous text entry).

[Task]
Analyze the root causes of this form validation and state control issue, and provide a comprehensive Technical Diagnostic & Bug Fix Plan.

[BUG ANALYSIS & FIX REQUIREMENTS]

1. Validation Rule & UX Refinement
- Issue: "Keep it under 160 characters" error appears unexpectedly (likely triggered by Meta Description or Excerpt fields).
- Requirements:
* Display a real-time character counter (e.g., "145 / 160 characters") on the input UI to prevent users from exceeding the limit beforehand.
* Provide visual indicators (warning colors) as the text approaches the 160-character cap.
* Ensure clear field-level error mapping so the user knows exactly which input triggered the warning.

2. Critical Input State Locking Fix (Single-Character Input Bug)
- Root Cause Hypothesis to Investigate:
* Unnecessary Component Re-rendering: The form state update (onChange) re-renders the input component on every keystroke, losing focus or cursor position.
* Controlled Input State Mismatch: Hard-clamping or truncating state value directly inside the onChange event handler causing value resets.
* Validation State Loop: Validation logic running synchronously on keypress and blocking user input state updates.
- Requirements:
* Fix react/vue component state binding to ensure smooth, continuous typing even after validation errors are triggered.
* Preserve cursor focus and position during real-time validation checks.
* Allow text entry beyond 160 characters during typing, but flag it as invalid on submit/blur without freezing the input element.

3. Rich Text & Media Editor Compatibility Check
- Ensure that the fix applies seamlessly across both standard text inputs (Title, Slug, Excerpt, Promo Header) and Rich Text/WYSIWYG Editors (Body text, Promotion details).
